Carriage Club is a former census-designated place (CDP) located in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 1,002 at the 2000 census. The area has been annexed by the city of Lone Tree.[2]

Carriage Club is located at 39°31′58″N 104°53′54″W / 39.53278°N 104.89833°W / 39.53278; -104.89833 (39.532715, -104.898226).[3]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2), all of it land.

Demographics[edit]

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 1,002 people, 325 households, and 290 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,346.3 people per square mile (522.8/km2). There were 333 housing units at an average density of 447.4 per square mile (173.7/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.02% White, 2.59% African American, 5.39% Asian, 1.50% from other races, and 1.50% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.59% of the population.

There were 325 households, out of which 48.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 84.6% were married couples living together, 3.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 10.5% were non-families. 6.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.08 and the average family size was 3.23.

In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 30.7% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 35.0% from 25 to 44, 25.7% from 45 to 64, and 4.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females, there were 94.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.7 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $101,402, and the median income for a family was $88,314. Males had a median income of $74,750 versus $40,893 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $31,852. About 3.0% of families and 3.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 2.8% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
