Images Deleted[edit]
Sadly, some of the images I uploaded back in 2005/2006 (when wikipedia was young) have been deleted because I didn't attribute them properly, which was not policy at the time. They were deleted before I had time to object. Oh well, Wikipedia is full of content already now :) WillSmith (London) (talk) 09:05, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Unsourced additions to Types of gestures[edit]
Your recent addition to Types of gestures did not cite any sources, and has been reverted. Please be sure to cite reliable sources for any information that is likely to be questioned. This includes all new gestures on Types of gestures. Cnilep (talk) 20:17, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Abdul Taib Mahmud[edit]
Hi, thanks for your contributions to the Abdul Taib Mahmud article. We need to find a number of missing references for unsupported statements. It seems that there are a lot of politically motivated Wikipedians messing around with the article, which is a real shame! Thanks again for your help. Biggleswiki (talk) 08:51, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 3[edit]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hélyette Geman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Peter Carr (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ultimately Recoverable Resource[edit]
Please read WP:MOSDAB. The phrase "Ultimately Recoverable Resource" does not appear anywhere in wikipedia. So, if somewhere in wikipedia URR does refer to "Ultimately Recoverable Resource", there is nowhere to point the reader to find out about "Ultimately Recoverable Resource". Hence, the line has been removed from URR.
However, it's probably well past time that Ultimately Recoverable Resource did appear in wikipedia. Do you think you could create a stub containing a couple of relevant reliable references? (Otherwise, it will immediately be deleted.) If you feel you want/need help to do this, I'm happy to assist. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 12:00, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!
This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:
- Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
- Editor-focused central editing dashboard
- "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
- Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
- Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list
Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)
Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.
Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.

Please help with usability testing[edit]
Hello! The mw:Anti-Harassment Tools team is running a usability test to find out how and where IP addresses are used when patrolling wikis, particularly when patrolling RecentChanges. This could include New Pages or RecentChanges patrol. We want to see your patrolling process and get your views on some prototypes. Getting your perspective would be really helpful to us at this stage of the process. If you'd like to help, and have 30 minutes to spare, please fill out this Google form with your details: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfjYyRNGMkO4_TdNOgG4qmK9cp9YOKzM4GFO5pTd_bEcu23YQ/viewform
For the purpose of the tests we'll be using Google Forms for recruitment, and UserTesting.com to conduct the actual tests. Please review the privacy statement and release form in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ijmwrIoNO0W1p_zfFU1LBf3_6mFF53kUUFy1L_DCUKc (Google docs link)
Thank you,
