Pronunciation of Dauphin[edit]

It might be helpful to know whether the pronunciation of Dauphin is like the original French or if it has instead been Anglicized. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yasha1969 (talk • contribs) 22:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure how it could be Anglicized... DAW-PIN? It's pronounced with the tradtional french "Daw-fin" like dolphin with no "l". --Tunafizzle (talk) 21:31, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
