Lake Harney?[edit]

I grew up near here, my grandparents lived their entire lives in Burns, and for a number of summers traveled extensively throughout the county with my grandfather. Never once did I hear this geographical feature referred to as "Lake Harney." It was always called "Harney Lake," parallel to "Malheur Lake." Multimap also gives it that designation: http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=-13250000.9151959&Y=5325000.47299945&width=500&height=300&gride=-13419724.9151959&gridn=5430241.47299945&srec=0&coordsys=mercator&db=US&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&keepicon=true&zm=1&scale=2000000 The FWS web site also identifies it as "Harney Lake" (http://www.fws.gov/malheur/history.htm), as well as the Wikipedia page on the Malheur National Wildlife Reguge.

Yep, you're right. I fear I may have been the deluded editor who put that in. It's fixed now. —EncMstr 19:24, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
